At East London Drum School, we teach drums to a lot of kids, and you won’t find a more enthusiastic bunch than us! Our experienced and DBS checked tutors have a knack for getting kids engaged and interested in learning.
While some kids can’t wait to get behind the drum kit, others can initially find it daunting. We recognise that, which is why we’ve created a fun and supportive environment where kids can feel comfortable making mistakes and being themselves. After all, it’s the only way to truly learn.
Picking up an instrument is one of the best things you can do for your child, and with us, they’ll have a great time with it!

The Benefits of Kids Drum Lessons Can Be Huge
Drumming has been shown to develop discipline, focus, and creativity. It’s a fun hobby that gives kids an outlet for their energy while allowing them to connect with other young musicians. But perhaps most importantly of all, learning the drums at an early age can build a love of music that lasts a lifetime.
It’s never too early to start learning – we offer classes for kids as young as 4 years old. Our tutors will simply adapt their teaching style and lesson material to make sure it’s at the right level for the child.
